Pre-Season Updates

Hi Parents - we're looking forward to the season! As we're getting closer to the first week of practice, I wanted to send along a few reminders and updates. As always, please let me know if you have any questions
Practices starts on Monday, May 11th. We'll practice in the afternoon until school is out for the summer, then we shift to the mornings. Full schedule and times are on our website.
Swimsuits and team gear- if you're new to the team this year or want to order a new team swimsuit, details can be found here. Team suits and gear are completely optional, but if you choose to purchase a suit elsewhere, please try to have it in our team color royal blue.Swimsuit fitting - for those new to swimming, suit sizing is done a little different. In order to help, I have a suit sizing kit from the company who does our suits. If interested, please let me know ([email protected] or 404-734-6102) and I can plan to meet those at the clubhouse so swimmers can find the right size before ordering.
Meet schedule - our meet schedule is also on the website. It would be very helpful for the coaches if you could RSVP for the meets (if you'll be there or not able to make it). On our website, if you're logged in, click on the Swim Meets tab and click on the green Meet Entry button to RSVP.
Meet Volunteers - for the meets, each family should plan on having one parent volunteer for a role (timer, score keeper, concession stand, bullpen, announcer, etc.). I'll send out more detail descriptions of each role as we get closer to meets. These are vital to have filled -- without parent volunteers at the meets, they can't happen. Signups for these are on the Swim Meets tab of the website as well.
As always -- we're looking for more families and swimmers. Please ask neighbors, classmates, friends, family, teammates from other sports. The more the merrier!
